FedEx Leaders to Lemmings Commercial

I like this rather new FedEx commercial. It uses the little creature of the Lemming, which is known to blindly follow each other (they were thought to be suicidal at one point), to try to influence people to be leaders. The people in the room crawl after the Lemming after it bites the speaker's hand and leave the room. I am not sure whether or not it influences me to use FedEx, as it is more of funny little show than anything else. I think the funny part is when all of the people follow the lemming out of the room after they are supposed to be leaders after the man's speech.

New Wendy's Fish Filet Commercial

The new Wendy's commercials are a lot more fun that the old ones, for sure. I like how the new Wendy is animated (my girlfriend suggested to me that this was a first). I like her facial expressions and how she is fishing. This commercial may actually persuade me to go and buy one of the fish sandwiches. I like how it uses a mix of eye candy and real promoting. The mix of the animation and discussing how their fish is actual Cod makes it sound pretty good. I think I may actually go to Wendy's after this post but to grab a cheeseburger... delicious!

Kinoki Foot Pads

Wow... I really don't know what else to say about this wonderful new product. When I first saw the add, I thought that there might be some truth to these things (my roommate and I wanted to buy some). There is truth to toxins floating around the body and, thinking of Asian secrets, I thought that this was a secret to helping my body out. I looked it up online and after hearing about the pads being some sort of sweat release causing the discoloration, it sounds like its just a scam... sadly. I think the true test would be for someone to get their blood tested for toxins before and after the Kinoki treatment and see if there was a drop. I would say that a safer bet would be to hold off on spending any money on this.

Kohler Force Flush Toilet - Jo's Plumbing Commercial

I never really knew Kohler was a great brand, but there commercials kind of hinted at this to me. I thought about getting a new faucet for my kitchen and went to Home Depot and saw they were about $800. I decided to use old faithful instead.

Anyways, this toilet commercial is pretty funny because the guy tries flushing everything he can find into his new toilet until his female partner (wife?) catches him. I thought it was pretty original so I wanted to put it out there... maybe one day I can afford one!

Sales Genie

I cannot stand Sales Genie! Their ads make me want to scream.
First it was the ads with the guy in an Office. Everyone is worried and this one guy has some sales leads, so he drives a Ferrari? Give me a break.
Then came the set of ads with children and gifts "Mommy is a salesman and last year she worked really hard, but she didn't make a lot of money (frowny). But then my daddy got her this thing called SalesGenie.com, now she spends a lot more time with me and (whisper) she's making a lot more money" The mom then appears with two yellow labrador puppies and your heart melts as the girl screams "PUPPIES!."
My initial reaction to this ad was "Brilliant." It made making money for your family the important thing, and I bet they have more people buy their product.
Sadly, I work on a trading floor and I hear this ad on CNBC ALL DAY LONG. I have to cover my ears, literally, when this commercial comes on!!!

Super Bowl Commercials

This years Super Bowl commercials were somewhat disappointing. After a strong batch of last year's commercials (FedEx Moon Base & Cavemen with dinosaur,) we had high expectations. This expectation was merely shattered. I was forced to sit through Ling-Ling and the Sales Genie people babble away.... I think that it is purely ridiculous to spend $2.5 million for garbage.
